Job description

Confirmo is one of the fastest growing crypto payment gateways, and our flexible solutions, low fees, and top-class support make it easy for businesses of all sizes to accept crypto payments. Forbes US named us among the best crypto payment gateways in the world and we don't plan to slow down! Since 2022, we’ve grown 700% in volume and now process over $60M+ monthly. We are in the process of obtaining our MiCA licence in Ireland and as part of this expansion, we plan to hire approximately eight employees in Ireland, with a CFO as a top priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory leadership: Act as CFO of the Irish regulated entity (MiCA/CBI requirements).

  • Full finance scope: Take ownership of accounting, tax, controlling, FP&A, and audit — supported by an internal team and external providers.

  • Cross‑functional cooperation: Work closely with legal and compliance teams on US MTL applications, EU EMI licensing, and other regulatory initiatives.

  • Team builder: Establish and lead both internal resources and external partnerships to strengthen and scale the finance function.

  • Strategic partner: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business development and decision‑making at group level.

  • Scalability focus: Proactively adapt procedures, systems, and provider relationships to match the pace of our growth.

Your Profile:

  • Qualified Accountant: Holds a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CIMA) from Ireland or an equivalent jurisdiction.

  • Minimum 5 post-qualification experience in one or more: Big 4/top-tier advisory (audit/tax/financial advisory) and/or industry roles in accounting, FP&A, or financial controlling. Experience in regulated or high-growth environments preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in the crypto, blockchain, or fintech sectors, ideally with knowledge of MiCA regulations, AML/KYC compliance, or digital asset financial management.

  • Strong technical accounting skills, with experience in managing end-to-end financial processes, including general ledger, tax compliance, and internal controls.

This position is based in Dublin/Ireland, remote work is ok from Ireland with occasional travel to Dublin. If you are interested in learning more, please submit your CV, and our recruiter, Brian, will get back to you promptly.
